Yes, chili is allowed on the 4 hour diet. The ingredients (meat, beans, and vegetables) are all allowed. You can’t eat crackers, cornbread, or potatoes with it though.
Cheese and sour cream are technically not recommended on the diet. Eating your chili with a little bit won’t hurt you too bad, but it may slow down your weight loss. Choose accordingly.

Would this include “Wendy’s” chili? Forgive me if this has already been addressed.
Below are the ingredients in Wendy’s chili.
You’ll notice there is a bunch of fake stuff (although not a ton of carbs).
So, making your own Chili would be healthier (and probably tastier) than Wendy’s.
However, eating Wendy’s chili will be way better for you than anything else at Wendy’s!
So it would be better to eat Wendy’s chili than cheat on something worse…
Chili Base (water, tomatoes, salt, citric acid, calcium chloride), Ground Beef, Vegetable Mix (onions, celery, green peppers), Chili Beans (beans, water, sugar, corn syrup, salt, natural flavorings, onion powder, calcium chloride), Kidney Beans (kidney beans, water, sugar, corn syrup, salt, natural flavorings, onion powder, calcium chloride, disodium EDTA [preservative]), Chili Seasoning (sugar, salt, modified corn starch, chili pepper, onion powder, spices, dextrose, garlic powder, citric acid, disodium inosinate & guanylate, xanthan gum, autolyzed yeast extract, soybean oil, caramel color, extractives of paprika, malic acid, red 40, natural and artificial flavor, silicon dioxide [anticaking agent]).
